David Cook relates his early family life, and coming to faith in Jesus Christ in his youth.  Talked about his involvement with Cru's (CCCI) Student Venture in high school from 1970-1972 and the life changing power of the gospel in the lives of students.  Graduating from the University of Missouri in Kansas City (UMKC) in 1977 with a Communications degree majoring in Radio, TV & Film.  After finishing a film course by completing a project producing and writing radio and television PSAs for City Union Mission.  Also directing a television pilot for the weekly children's television show titled STUFF produced by Ray Hildebrand and Davis Aldridge which later David directed while working at KYFC TV50 in Kansas City.  The weekly STUFF show also aired on CBN and PTL satellite cable networks in the late 70's and 80's.  David also shared about his involvement with the JESUS Film project and the Mapping Center for Evangelism lead by Chris Cooper.  David produced a video showing men how they could use the JESUS film as a Christmas gift to their family and friends to help them come to faith and strengthen their faith that was shown at seventeen Promise Keeper's Conferences in the 1997 and afterwards.
